The Interwebs have tracked down Brendan Jordan, the 15-year-old boy who videobombed a Las Vegas reporter—doing a fierce dance routine in the background of her shoot.

Screen Shot 2014-10-14 at 7.00.39 PMCorresponding with—with his parent’s permission, of course—Brendan said the whole thing was pretty spontaneous: “I just saw a camera, and did my thing,” he explained. “I was imagining myself as if I were Lady Gaga, and that no one could destroy me.”

The Nevada teen, who is openly gay, insists he isn’t letting “fame” go to his head. “I still feel the same. I’m still the same kid I was before I did the video,” he told a newsreporter in the clip below. “The most important thing to do is stay humble.”

Given how long viral celebrity lasts, Brendan, we don’t think that will be a problem.

We kid, we kid! Brendan seems pretty chill about the whole thing—only don’t compare his diva moves to Mother Monster. “[I don’t know] why people are comparing me to Lady Gaga,” Jordan tweeted after joining Twitter on Sunday. “I worship her as a goddess, and would never try to ’compete’ with her.”
