If you've been following the shitsstorm that Gawker caused yesterday, that particular post is being taken down. In our history (between TBL and AE), we've taken down about 3 of 4 posts over the years when our readers let us know that it crossed the line, but sometimes judgment calls are just ...wrong. Saying that, the Gawker piece was vile.

Speaking of vile, Child Of The Corn Ben Shapiro got into a heated scrap with transgender reporter Zoey Tur, and it got really ... bad.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt will guest star on the Season Four premiere of The Mindy Project. JGL and Chris Messina. Yes, please.

Arrow has cast its Mr. Terrific (no, not the Mr. Terrific from that one episode of The Golden Girls, which is who I always think of), it's the crime-fighting hero, who happens to be gay (and apparently will become BFF's with Felicity). He's going to be played by Echo Kellum.

And here's The Weekly ShoutOUT™. Each week we're going to focus on one out athlete/performer and feature a daily pic and career timeline. We'll be showcasing the big names, but also the lesser-known gay celebs who deserve more recognition. This week we give a ShoutOUT to ... Casey Spooner

Closing out our week with Casey, "Spanish Teenager" was another release form his solo project Adult Contemporary, and features Jake Shears!

We’ve counted down the 100 greatest top ten hits by female artists of the 80’s and 90’s, so let’s take the Wayback Machine even further back and count down the 100 greatest top ten hits by female artists … OF THE 70’S! There are only two rules – Every song must have hit the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100, and they all must be performed by female vocalists, either solo or as part of a group. You’ll be hearing the classics from Olivia, Barbra, Linda, Carly, ABBA, Diana and the other icons, of course, but also great AM Gold treasures you probably haven’t heard for years.

At #17 is "Heart Of Glass" by Blondie. When I counted down The Essential Debbie Harry, this was at #1, and I stand by that assessment. It hit #1 in April 1979, and was the perfect combo of new wave, rock, pop, and disco.
