Maxwell Caulfied? Solid Gold? I never realized how much Andrew Rannells and I are kindred spirits.

Throwback Thursday! This week we throw back to this week in 1982 and the Hot 100 debut of Kim Wilde's "Kids In America." Even though it would only peak at #25, it's a Snicks Certified 80's Classic™.

And here's The Weekly ShoutOUT™. Each week we're going to focus on one out athlete/performer and feature a daily pic and career timeline. We'll be showcasing the big names, but also the lesser-known gay celebs who deserve more recognition. This week we give a ShoutOUT™ to ... David Marshall Grant

David has had a tremendous amount of success behind-the-scenes on TV, as executive producer on both Smash, Looking, and as producer, writer and head show runner of Brothers & Sisters. Included in the 22 episodes he wrote was the series finale. We miss you, Walker family!

We've counted down the 100 greatest top ten hits by female artists of the 80's and 90's, so let's take the Wayback Machine even further back and count down the 100 greatest top ten hits by female artists ... OF THE 70'S! There are only two rules - Every song must have hit the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100, and they all must be performed by female vocalists, either solo or as part of a group. You'll be hearing the classics from Olivia, Barbra, Linda, Carly, ABBA, Diana and the other icons, of course, but also great AM Gold treasures you probably haven't heard for years.

At #53 is "Mr. Big Stuff" by Jean Knight. The Stax classic peaked at #2 in the summer of 1971, and has been used in countless TV shows and movies over the decades.

BONUS! "Mr. Big Stuff" was Jean's only top 40 hit, but she came close in 1985 with "My Toot Toot," which peaked at #50.
