And here’s The Weekly ShoutOUT™. Each week we’re going to focus on one out athlete/performer and feature a daily pic and career timeline. We’ll be showcasing the big names, but also the lesser-known gay celebs who deserve more recognition. This week we give a ShoutOUT™ to … Brian Boitano.

50-year-old! Brian achieved Olympic Gold at the 1988 Calgary Games, in one the closest margins ever. Remember “The Battle Of the Brians?” Brian went head-to-head with Canadian rival Brian Orser, and it came down to the wire.

And now we have the TOP 50 SCI-FI/FANTASY FILMS OF THE 80’S! This was originally going to be a Top 25 sci-film list, followed by a Top 25 fantasy film list, but there was so much overlap (and it’s difficult to differentiate between the two with some films), that I decided to combine both lists. At #15 is … E.T.

Possibly the most beloved film of the 80’s, I don’t think it holds up as well as some of Spielberg’s other output, but it proved that there is no director better at pulling the emotional strings. On the other hand, what can you say about a cherished family film that includes “cocksucker.”

Congrats to Jazz, who was the first to guess that Friday’s Pixuzzle™ © ® was Silver Spoons.

Here’s today’s Pixuzzle™ © ®. Here are characters from a famous TV show. Can you name it?
