Birthday shoutouts go to Corey Sevier, (above) who is 29, Patrick Wilson is 40, Tom Cruise is 52, and Betty Bucklry is 66.

My beloved Laura Branigan would have been 56 today, and to pay tribute, I'm going to reveal something I never I thought I would ... A Lost Hit Of The 90's!. "Moonlight On Water" was the first single released from Laura's criminally underrated self-titled 1990 album, and it peaked at an undeserving #59.

A Scheduling Note - Tomorrow is a holiday in the U.S., so we'll have a limited schedule the next two days, but we'll still have a meme, and briefs, and some special posts for you.

And here's The Weekly ShoutOUT™. Each week we're going to focus on one out athlete/performer and feature a daily pic and career timeline. We'll be showcasing the big names, but also the lesser-known gay celebs who deserve more recognition. This week we give a ShoutOUT to ... Randy Harrison. Now, presenting ... THE TOP 40 HORROR FILMS OF THE 80'S! Journey with me back to the birth of the Dead Teenager movie (actually, that began in the 70's, so I guess it would be the Afterbirth Of The Dead Teenager Movie), the last gasps of the Italian Horror Masters, and the franchises that still continue today. Yes, your Freddy, Jason, and Michael will be represented, but I'm also going to pay tribute to the obscurities that deserve to be seen. Let's start things off with one of those obscurities, the first, but certainly not last, Killer Rodent movie on the list. At #40 is ... Rats: Night Of Terror!

Released in 1984, Rats: Night Of terror! was directed by schlock master Bruno Mattei (who we'll be seeing again), and takes place in 235 A.B. (the A.B. stands for ... "After The Bomb"). Here's the synopsis: "One hundred years after a nuclear war has devastated the planet, society has been reborn into two factions; the underground society and the scavengers above in the wastelands. A group of scavengers on bikes come across a town infested with flesh eating rats, and soon the gore is spilling everywhere." Oh, but there's so much more to it than that. Hilarious dubbing, full frontal male nudity by a character named "Lucifer," a girl who becomes a rat snack when her sleeping bag zipper gets stuck (which is why I don't go camping), and the ending, which is one of the greatest in all of cinema. I'm presenting that ending below, because I feel it needs to be seen, and studied. But WARNING! This clip (which features the characters of "Chocolate" and "Video," and I'll leave it to you to guess who is who) will reveal the ending of Rats: Night Of Terror, so if you intend to see Rats: Night Of Terror and don't want the ending spoiled ... don't watch.

Congrats to RJ, who was the first to correctly guess that yesterday's Pixuzzle™ © ® was The New Normal.
