Watch Ian McKellen, Gillian Anderson, Chiwetel Ejiofor, In British Airways’ Wonderful New Flight Safety Video

"This could be your big break, mate, so don't mess it up."

Most people completely tune out the safety instructions when getting ready to take off on a flight, but British Airways is hoping to change that with a star-studded new instructional video that also doubles as a charity announcement.

The airline produced a video that finds celebrities including Sir Ian McKellen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Gordon Ramsay and Gillian Anderson auditioning to star in a new safety short, which has them reciting the instructions as part of the interview.

British Airways also teamed up with Comic Relief to collect donations for its global charity initiative, Flying Start, and the video ends with the stars explaining that there are envelopes in the seat pockets that are meant for spare change and inflight donations.

Over $21 million has already been raised for the charity, which was created to “help give children in the communities which we fly to the chance to have a brighter future.” The airline is hoping the safety video will help draw even more attention to the effort, but those who aren’t planning a trip anytime soon can click here to make a donation.
