Britney Spears Is Getting Ready To Drop A New Mobile Game

Make us (oooh), queen!

The makers of Kim Kardashian's wildly successful app are putting their money behind Britney Spears next, and launching a brand new mobile game centered around the Queen of Pop.

Spears has reportedly signed a five-year deal with Glu Mobile for the free app, which will be similar to Kim's.

According to the Daily Mail, "users will follow a quest to pop stardom which will see them sing backup for Britney, compete against other singers, wear some of Britney's most famous outfits and record singles."

A beta version of the game, titled Britney Spears: American Dream, dropped in the Google Play store for developers earlier this year.

But on Monday, Spears hinted at the game's inevitable release in the iTunes store by posting an image of her avatar to Instagram along with a message: "Coming soon..."

The app doesn't have an official release date but fans are encouraged to pre-register by May 16.

It'll likely drop around the same time Spears drops her new single (and possibly a new album) immediately following her epic Billboard Music Awards performance on May 22.
