Britney Jean Spears has selected the first single off her upcoming ninth studio album according to Robin Leach, the music writer who ignited a god damn grease fire under the Britney Army this weekend by confirming the pop icon's new album is scheduled for a May release.

With the new album expected in about four weeks, Leach also announced the Queen would be shooting a video for the lead single TODAY:

In an article published by the Las Vegas Sun today, Leach confirmed via a reliable source that the new single will be called "Make Me (Oooh)" — a title heralded by true Britney fans as a sure bet:

"The concept for the video is all set," the source told Leach. "The single and the video will thrill fans because it’s all new, totally different and somewhat unexpected. It’s different; it’s a turn. She's gone from pretty straight-forward pop to a really interesting vibe with a lot of really cool stuff."

"Honestly, I’m just particular with this record. It’s my baby, and so I really want it done right," Britney told V magazine in March. "It’s the best thing I’ve done in a long time. I’m proud of the work, and it’s very different; it’s not what you would think at all. But I’m not rushing anything. I just want it to be done right, so that my fans will truly appreciate it."
