Fox Canceled "Brooklyn Nine-Nine"—And Twitter Lost Its Sh*t

Fox has canceled its fan-favorite series Brooklyn Nine-Nine, confirming today that the show's fifth season will be its last.

Many have heralded the show, which followed a group of police officers in New York's 99th precinct, as inclusive and groundbreaking for its portrayals of queer characters of color.

Fans fell in love with Officer Rosa Diaz (Stephanie Beatriz), a bisexual Latina, and Captain Raymond Holt (Andre Braugher), a gay black man.
