Bruce Jenner Will Make Debut As Woman On July Cover Of "Vanity Fair"

Bruce Jenner opened up about his gender transition this spring in an ABC News interview, and shared how his transition has affected his family in a special two-part episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Now the Olympic medalist will appear as a woman for the first time on the July cover of Vanity Fair, in a pictorial shot by legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz.

To date, Jenner, 65, has continued to use his given name and masculine pronouns, and refers to his female identity simply as "Her." It's not clear if that will change with the publication of the VF story.

Leibovitz, who was in a long-term relationship with the late Susan Sontag, has shot celebrities, royal and world leaders, and created iconic magazine covers for Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone and other magazines.

Jenner will chronicle his new life in an E! docuseries debuting July 26.
