Brussels Gay Bar Staff Thought Paris Terror Suspect Was A Rent Boy

Salah Abdeslam, who has been on the lam since the attacks, was a regular in Brussel's gay village.

We reported how accused terrorist Salah Abdeslam, who has been on the lam since the attacks in Paris, was a regular in gay bars in Brussels, where he lived.

In an interview with the Sunday Times, a bartender at one of those clubs reveals the staff assumed he was a hustler.

"We had him down as a rent boy—he was always hanging out with that kind of crowd," said a man identified as Julien.

Earlier, authorities indicated they believed Abdeslam was trolling the bars to find easy targets or steal passports.

After images of the terror suspects were released, bar owners in the area recognised Abdeslam and went to the police. Officials are now trawling through CCTV from the district, Brussels' Saint Jacques quarter...

Abdeslam’s brother Ibrahim, who blew himself up outside the Comptoire Voltaire Cafe, ran a bar in Brussels' now-infamous Molenbeek district.

It's believed Salah rented two cars used in the attacks, and drove the vehicle carrying three terrorists, including his brother, who sprayed crowded restaurants in the City of Lights, killing at least 30 people before they committed suicide.

Investigators believe Abdeslam intended to take his own life as well, but instead called friends in Brussels begging them to "rescue."

He's now reportedly going under an assumed name, Yassine Baghli, and sporting glasses and a wig.
