Caitlyn Jenner: I'm Voting Republican In 2016

Jenner was in Des Moines trying to attend the recent presidential debate.

Caitlyn Jenner is not making a lot of friends this week: Her acceptance of Glamour's Woman of the Year award outraged everyone from trans activists to a former recipient's widower, and now she's revealed she's planning on voting Republican in the upcoming Presidential election.

Jenner was at Des Moines' Drake University on Saturday, trying to attend the Democratic debate being held on campus. (CBS told her there were no tickets left.)

A Drake alum, Jenner was in town filming her reality show and said she watched the debate with students on television.

She told the L.A. Times Hillary Clinton and the other Democrats "didn't convince me" and that she still planned on voting Republican.

Even though the Republican party is against anti-discrimination laws protecting trans people.

And even though Republican politicians have maligned such provisions as an excuse for "disturbed" men to wear dresses and sneak into women's bathrooms.

And even though Republican candidates like Mike Huckabee oppose allowing trans service members into the armed forces, calling it a "social experiment."

We all want lower taxes, but jeez.
