Caitlyn Jenner Rumored To Be Dating Trans Actress Candis Cayne

Caitlyn Jenner is officially a celebrity: the tabloids are gossiping about her love life!

This week Star magazine linked the reality star and former Olympian with entertainer Candis Cayne, who's appeared as a coach on both RuPaul's Drag Race and Drag U.

Jenner and Cayne, a transgender actress who also appeared in the ABC drama Dirty Sexy Money, were photographed in New York over Pride weekend—shopping at Pat Fields, hitting an A-list Pride party at the Dream Hotel and kiki-ing with their girlfriends at a fabulous dinner.

“Caitlyn and Candis had amazing chemistry,” an insider tells Star. “After her monumental life change, Caitlyn’s ready to open up her heart again and... [Candis] has been basically through the same struggles and confusion."

What a picture! Wow. Broadway!

From early footage, it appears Candis will also appear on Caitlyn's upcoming docu-series, I Am Cait.

"Candis is smart, funny, talented and drop-dead sexy. I wouldn’t blame Caitlyn one bit if she fell for her,” the source claims.

The article also reports the two glamour goddesses saw An American in Paris on Broadway, had a candlelit dinner and even got spa treatments together.

Of course there's not much hard evidence or confirmations from either women in the story—just a lot of second-hand "sources."

Gossip Cop is calling shenanigans, quoting a different source that says the affair is "wishful thinking on Star's part."

Cayne was in a relationship with DJ Marco McDermott for more than eight years, but the couple split in 2010.

So it may very well be just wishful thinking. But the fact that these two trans women are being treated by the tabloids like any other celebrities (tacky headline aside) is pretty phenomenal.

And while we're seeing increased visibility in the media, there's still a discomfort in acknowledging trans people as sexual beings.
