Caitlyn Jenner Showered With Screams Of Love During Surprise NYC Pride Appearance
Amidst yesterday's city-wide NYC Pride celebrations, Jared Needle hosted his annual "DAYDREAM" party produced by Voss Events at PH-D Rooftop Lounge with a surprise appearance by none other than Caitlyn Jenner.
A source tells us that Caitlyn first reached out to Needle upon hearing that Candis Cayne would be performing (Cayne has a story-line on Jenner's upcoming I Am Cait docu-series).
Catilyn arrived to the party with an entourage of 20+ security and production people where she and a number of girlfriends popped bottles of champagne at a secluded exterior table. When Cayne's performance began, she moved into the main room.
"I was really impressed with how open and interactive she was with the crowd," Needle tells us. "She was enjoying the moment because people were really excited to see her. People were catcalling her name, screaming 'We love you, Catilyn.' She got up with her own phone and took pictures and waved at the crowd and thanked them. You could tell she was really happy."
“Everyone cheered when Caitlyn arrived,” Peter Davis, Publication Director at the Daily Front Row, tells us. “She is probably the most sought-after celebrity on the planet this second, not to mention an LGBT icon. She was literally glowing and happy to talk to anyone and everyone. It was like the pride of Pride had entered her kingdom. So major!”
