What If “Call Me By Your Name” Starred Danny DeVito And Arnold Schwarzenegger?

"You look like you’re ready to explode!"

If you ever browsed the shelves of a video store you’ve probably come across the iconic cover for Twins, the 1988 buddy comedy starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito.

It’s about two strangers who learn they were the results of a genetic experiment and separated at birth. Though they couldn’t be more different—physically and tempermentally—Julius and Vincent develop an unbreakable bond.

But what if, instead of brothers, DeVito and Schwarzenegger played lovers? That’s the idea behind a new Funny or Die video which takes scenes from Twins, and splices in music and clips from Call Me By Your Name to create Call Me By Your Twins.

There’s even a peach scene (thank you, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia), and you’ll definitely want to stick around for the end for a joke from Junior, Schwarzenegger and DeVito’s next movie together.

I write about drag queens. Dolly Parton once ruffled my hair and said I was "just the cutest thing ever."
