A new PSA was released Monday to help remind gay men that sometimes news is so big, it deserves more than just a text.

Comedians Sam Pancake, Justin Martindale and Jason Looney play best squirrel friends who are simply gagging over the release of Beyoncé's Lemonade, and call one another to share in their excitement.

What follows is a string of gay quips and catchphrases that eventually just turns into bird noises, essentially.

Looney, who created the hit web series Not Looking, explained why it's so important, especially for the upcoming Pride season, to trade traditional texts for old-fashioned phone calls.

"You miss out on a lot of vocal socialization subtleties if you merely text," he said. "These three guys really have a special bond, be it over Beyoncé, Gaga, Madonna. They have lots of opinions, but only have the vocabulary of a parrot."
