Gurl, no, that’s not Billy Porter — it’s Calvin Seabrooks!

An actor and comedian by trade, Seabrooks is perhaps best known for his hilarious content on social media where his parodies of everyone from the fabulous Pose alum to Queen Bey herself have earned him a devoted 40k following on Instagram. He also helped launch @TheGag, Logo and Comedy Central's queer comedy platform.

In addition to being really good at social media, Seabrooks has appeared in The CW’s dystopian drama 4400 and Peacock’s Queer as Folk reboot. He counts the latter as one of his proudest moments of the past year, especially as a gay man who grew up watching the original version of Showtime’s groundbreaking queer drama at home in secret.

“I would stay up, turn off all the lights, turn the volume all the way down, turn on closed captioning, and watch Queer as Folk,” he tells Logo. “It was such an honor to be able to be a part of a show that has been a huge awakening for me. And hopefully, it will be a huge awakening for kids now and especially queer kids of color. The cast in this reboot is so diverse, and they're all so incredibly talented.”
