Campbell's Soup Gay Dads Cast Opposite Nicole Kidman And Reese Witherspoon In New Series

Larry Sullivan and David Monahan join the cast of HBO's "Big Little Lies."

Though Larry Sullivan and David Monahan have many credits to their resumes (Sullivan played Robert, Will's ballet dancing boyfriend, on Will & Grace; Monahan played Tobey Barret on Dawson's Creek), for many, they are best known as the real-life family at the center of the now-iconic 2015 Campbell's Soup commercial.

The ad was part of Campbell's “Made for Real, Real Life” campaign, and saw the thespian partners playing versions of themselves opposite their real-life son.

The viral gig earner the pair spots on People Magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive" list and inspired Mike Melgaard to help take down anti-gay bigots by creating the fictitious online customer service rep, Campbell’s ForHelp.”

Now, Deadline is reporting that the pair will team up with Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon and Shailene Woodley for the new HBO limited series Big Little Lies.

The series is an adaptation of Liane Moriarty’s 2014 darkly comic novel about three mothers of kindergartners whose apparently perfect lives unravel to the point of murder. (Sounds a bit Lifetime-y, but with a cast like this, chances are it'll deliver.)

Sullivan and Monahan will play a married couple and parents of a child at the local elementary school.

The show has not been given a premiere date at this time.
