Go Maple Leaf Peeping in Fierce First Photos From “Canada’s Drag Race”

Don't puck it up!

Thailand, the U.K., and now our Neighbors to the North—RuPaul’s Drag Race is taking over the world!

OUTtv, World of Wonder, Crave, and Blue Ant Studios announced last year that Canada's Drag Race, a Canadian version of the Emmy-winning competition series, was headed our way with Drag Race Season 11 queen Brooke Lynn Hytes as a permanent judge.

It was also announced that fellow Canadian cutie Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman and Canadian fashion icon Stacey McKenzie would also be joining Brooke on the judges' panel.

Now the three judges hit the runway in the first pics from Canada's Drag Race, and all we can say is: Pass the Poutine!

"Canada’s got it going on. We’re a sleeping beauty, and we’re waking up. Everybody is going to be like 'Oh s—, you’re here!' We’re the quiet storm," McKenzie told Entertainment Weekly. "I can’t wait for the world to see the next Drag Race. It’s unapologetically Canadian!"

In the new batch of photos we see Brooke Lynn serving glamazon realness on the runway, and out of drag in the workroom and as host of the Canadian version of Snatch Game.

"I think that the essence of the challenges is similar to RuPaul’s Drag Race, but they’re specific to Canada," said Bowyer-Chapman. "There are instantly recognizable Easter eggs for Canadians, but they’re universally comedic enough that other audiences won’t be left out of the joke. Seeing these queens perform, this isn’t Drag Race-lite, this is Drag Race full-stop!"

Queens and additional guest judges will be announced at a later date, but we better see Carly Rae Jepsen sitting at that judges’ panel for an episode—and can we please get a Moira’s wigs-inspired Schitt’s Creek runway challenge?

The Canadian bacon puns write themselves.

Canada's Drag Race will premiere this summer in Canada on Crave, and on WOW Presents Plus around the rest of the world.
