Let's Go, Girls: Meet the Queens of "Canada's Drag Race"

"I’m not only that bitch, I’m that *Canadian* bitch.”

Ready to feel the fantasy, eh?

Earlier this week fans were given a sneak peek of the upcoming first season of Canada's Drag Race with images of judges Brooke Lynn Hytes, Canadian cutie Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman, and fashion icon Stacey McKenzie on the set of the new series.

Now the reveals keep coming, with the announcement of the queens who will be competing for the crown of Canada's Next Drag Superstar. The 12 contestants are: Anastarzia Anaquway (Toronto, ON), BOA (Toronto, ON), Ilona Verley (Vancouver, BC), Jimbo (Victoria, BC), Juice Boxx (Toronto, ON), Kiara (Montréal, QC), Kyne (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON), Lemon (From Toronto, living in New York City), Priyanka (Toronto, ON), Rita Baga (Montréal, QC), Scarlett Bobo (Toronto, ON), and Tynomi Banks (Toronto, ON).

Check out their Meet the Queens video below, set—appropriately—to the Shania Twain classic, "Man, I Feel Like a Woman":

“Canada’s got it going on. We’re a sleeping beauty, and we’re waking up. Everybody is going to be like ’Oh s—, you’re here!’ We’re the quiet storm,” McKenzie told Entertainment Weekly. “I can’t wait for the world to see the next Drag Race. It’s unapologetically Canadian!”

Bowyer-Chapman explains how the challenges will be similar to the Drag Race ones fans know and love, but with a Canadian twist:

“There are instantly recognizable Easter eggs for Canadians, but they’re universally comedic enough that other audiences won’t be left out of the joke. Seeing these queens perform, this isn’t Drag Race-lite, this is Drag Race full-stop!”

Additional guest judges will be announced at a later date, but we better see Carly Rae Jepsen sitting at that judges’ panel for an episode—and can we please get a Moira’s wigs-inspired Schitt’s Creek runway challenge?

Canada’s Drag Race premieres Monday, July 27 at 8/7c on Logo.
