With the Jussie Smollett story taking more twists and turns than a full season of Passions as unconfirmed reports point to the Empire star orchestrating the attack against himself, some supporters are becoming bewildered.

Cardi B took to Instagram to express doubt in the case and disappointment in Smollett if he made up the story.

“So, I’m really disappointed in Jussie Smollett, whatever the fuck his name is. I’m really disappointed in him," the 26-year-old rapper said. "I feel like he fucked up Black History Month, bro."

The Grammy-winning rapper said she is waiting "until he [says] that it was...staged" before rendering her own verdict on the matter.

"I don’t wanna completely blame him, because, you know, like, somebody that I was talking to, they said, like, you know, 'Police in Chicago are racist,' so they might probably [trying to] frame him and make him look like he’s a liar."

Cardi worries if the attack turns out to have been orchestrated, it may give right-wing conservatives fodder (I think).

"Then, you give fucking Donald Trump immunity to fucking laugh at people and shit and make motherfuckers look bad."

Smollett, through his attorney, vehemently denies these allegations and holds true to his initial claims.
