Carmen Carrera Dishes 6 Things Trans Women Want You To Know
RuPaul's Drag Race alum Carmen Carrera embraces the oft-forgotten crop of people who want to be supportive of their transgender friends but aren't exactly sure how to say it in a new video for Bustle, titled "6 Things Trans Women Want You To Know."
The important list of simple points covers everything from proper pronouns to heterosexual dating teas in a way that's totally non-aggressive toward those who always manage to make this conversation about them.
"I wasn't fortunate enough to have preparation for being a woman growing up. So I have to figure it out as I'm going along," Carrera says in one of her more personal tips. "I would love for the female population to be more welcoming to us because we need a little bit more help."
