Celine Dion Reaches Out To African Teen Who Sounds Just Like Her

"Your talent is as big as your voice. May all your dreams come true."

A teenage Gabonese boy has been dubbed "Teen Celine" after his stunning rendition of Celine Dion's "The Power of Love" got the approval of the music icon herself.

Video of 17-year-old Samuel's staircase cover of the iconic song in both English and French went viral over the weekend after his friend shared it online.

Samuel's impressive cover racked up over 3.3 million views in less than a week and even caught the attention of music producers, who Mashable reports have already reached out to the teen prodigy to discuss a possible record deal.

"Where I live in Libreville, people recognize me on the street and want to say hello," he said. "I absolutely do not know how to handle it."

Samuel told the AFP he was "overwhelmed and very surprised" when Celine Dion took to Facebook and shared the video on her official fan page.

"Samuel, your talent is as big as your voice," she wrote in both English and French. "I'm touched my songs have travelled all the way to you and hope we have the chance to meet one day. May all your dreams come true."

"I wasn't expecting that. I haven't got a phone or a Facebook account, it was my brother who told me Celine had shared my video," Samuel said. "I just hope that one day I can meet her for real."
