A Twitter Vigilante Is Outing Charlottesville Rally Racists

One exposed supremacist has already been fired from his job.

Twitter user @YesYoureRacist, who has exposed racism on Twitter since 2012, has been working overtime this weekend.

The social media hero has been posting photos of various men from the violent white supremacist rally in Charlottesville and asking his followers to help uncover their identities. If he gets the information, the tireless racist hunter is also notifying their schools or employers of their participation in the rally.

"If you recognize any of the Nazis marching in #Charlottesville, send me their names/profiles and I'll make them famous," @YesYoureRacist wrote. "#GoodNightAltRight."

Many of the rally attendees have already been identified and publicly shamed, and some have been connected to conservative Republican politicians. Cole White, the first attendee exposed by the account, has been fired from his job at Top Dog restaurant in Berkeley.

Hundreds of angry protesters from various white nationalist organizations and other right-wing groups convened in Charlottesville for the “Unite the Right” rally, which was organized in protest of Charlottesville’s decision to remove a statue of Confederate General Robert E. Lee from Emancipation Park. Three people were killed and many others were injured.

LGBT organizations such as GLAAD and HRC are blaming the violence on President Trump for promoting a culture of hate. Trump issued a statement about Charlottesville but failed to condemn white supremacists by name.
