"Charmed" Is Getting Rebooted By CBS. Who Should Star In It?

charmed-pilotWe're still reeling from the news that NBC is rebooting Murder, She Wrote," and now comes word CBS is relaunching Charmed, the WB's camp-tastic drama about three witchy sisters who do battle against demons.

It doesn't take Les Moonves to figure out why the network wants to resurrect the show: Supernatural series are all the rage right now, with American Horror Story Coven and Witches of East End specifically doing super stuff with sorceresses.

Also, not incidentally a recent report revealed Charmed was the second-most binged show on Netflix. (Prison Break was number one)

Executive produced by “Party of Five co-creator Chris Keyser, the show is being described as a "re-imagining of the original series centered around four sisters who discover their destiny – to battle against the forces of evil using their witchcraft.”

The original Charmed ran on the WB from 1998 till 2006 and starred Alyssa Milano, Holly Marie Combs, Shannen Doherty—and later Rose McGowan. It averaged 4.5 million viewers during its eight-season run.

CBS has only ordered a script for a pilot, according to Vulture, but maybe if we burn some incense and say "Aaron Spelling" in the mirror three times they'll commit to a full season.

Who would you cast in a Charmed reboot? Is Shannen Doherty doing anything?
