“Cakeboy really got started when I was still blogging, and I had a lot of stories that I wanted to tell that didn’t feel right online,” shares Santiago. “I felt like there could be something created that was a space for these stories to exist where you could really sit down with them and digest them.”
The live blog currently features interviews with comedian John Early, rapper Jay Boogie, and artist Stephen Zerbe.
The magazine’s Kickstarter campaign has almost reached the halfway mark of its $5000 goal, with 15 days to go.
