Check Out New Queer Indie Magazine “Cakeboy”

"It isn't about cake--or boys."

Sean Santiago is the founder and publisher of Cakeboy magazine, a new indie ’zine that recently launched its Kickstarter campaign

Each print issue is supplemented by digital content, allowing for a more in-depth look at story subjects through the use of videos and social media.

Cakeboy really got started when I was still blogging, and I had a lot of stories that I wanted to tell that didn’t feel right online,” shares Santiago. “I felt like there could be something created that was a space for these stories to exist where you could really sit down with them and digest them.”

The live blog currently features interviews with comedian John Early, rapper Jay Boogie, and artist Stephen Zerbe.

The magazine’s Kickstarter campaign has almost reached the halfway mark of its $5000 goal, with 15 days to go.
