Cher Lloyd On Fashion Disasters: "I Don't Even Know Why That Was An Option To Wear!"
Cher Lloyd says the best advice she ever got was from X-Factor honcho Simon Cowell, who told her to do what she wanted, not what she thought other people wanted from her. That tip has gotten the 20-year-old pop star pretty far: From touring with Demi Lovato to dropping her second album, Sorry I'm Late, next month, she's certainly making her mark on the world.

One way Lloyd's made her mark is with her style—but as she tells NewNowNext, sometimes her outfits make even her wince. "Cringy!" says Lloyd of the cartoon-strip catsuit she wore at London's G-A-Y in 2012 (right). "I don't even know why that was an option to wear!"
The "Swagger Jagger" singer admits that, like a lot of us, she feels most comfortable in sweats: "I focus so much on my music that sometimes I really don't care what I look like."
Spoken like a true artist.

And mark your calendars for May 27, when the album hits stores and the Internet.
