Cher Makes It A Family Affair, Sings With Mom On “Ellen”

Is Cher dying after all? We only ask because the superstar diva has been making the talk-show rounds this week, bringing close family members and recounting old memories. It’s like a wake or something.

No, we kid: Cher is just helping out her mom, Georgia Holt, promote her new album, Honky Tonk Woman, and their lifetime special Dear Mom, Love Cher. The two even sang a song on Ellen yesterday. (Well, “sang”—Cher admitted they lip-synched because 86-year-old Georgia was still recovering from pneumonia.)

Sister Georganne LaPiere was on hand too, but didn’t perform. Is she the Latoya of the family?
