NOW: Chris Brown Is Sorry He’s Not Sorry

Not sorry really, at all

It’s not enough that we get to read about various girls tweeting how they’d let Chris Brown punch them in the face. Or that we get to watch him perform at the Grammys and accept a trophy with a huge smile. No. We also have the privilege of hearing Chris tell us to “f*ck off”. Uh-oh, Chris is angry. Time to duck.

While it’s probably not appropriate to make “Chris is about to beat us up” jokes, at this point we don’t know what else to do. The actor posted — and later deleted –- a message to all of his critics on Twitter saying, “HATE ALL U WANT BECUZ I GOT A GRAMMY Now! That’s the ultimate F*CK OFF!”

Seriously? Could he get any worse? Sasha Pasulka said it best in her article, “I’m Not Okay With Chris Brown Performing at the Grammys and I’m Not Sure Why You Are,” where she gave a rational and persuasive argument for why it is ludicrous to “welcome” Chris back with open arms. And if her reasons aren’t enough to persuade you, the fact that Chris thinks a Grammy redeems him for viciously beating up his girlfriend – literally, an award for his music that has nothing to do with his character — should be a little clue that Mr. Brown takes what he did entirely too lightly.

Just because the Recording Academy likes that you can sell records does not mean we have to “f*ck off” as you so eloquently put it. And don’t worry Chris, we will hate all we want.

Now, try to control that temper and at least attempt to maintain a semblance of normal, respectable behavior. Or, you know, you could throw a chair at us.
