Hollywood Game Night

Chris Colfer On Hollywood Game Night

Chris Colfer dominated Hollywood Game Night last week, when he and celeb teammates Penny Marshal and Rosie O’Donnell led their civilian teammate to victory. Sadly, the team missed out on the grand prize after being tripped up on the final speed round. But Colfer was so good during gameplay that he didn’t even need a clue to decipher a mashup of Elizabeth Taylor and Taylor Lautner (named “Elizabeth Taylor Lautner,” natch). He’s just that good—or maybe host Jane Lynch was slipping her Glee co-star the answers?

Not content on just acting and playing charades, Colfer is also a best-selling novelist: USA Today broke the news of the next installment in his Land of Stories series, titled A Grimm Warning.

The book, due out July 8, is the third in the YA series, with a final installment due in 2015. “I’m very happy with the fourth book being the conclusion,” Colfer told the paper. “I can’t say it will be the final story. I love these characters too much to completely abandon them… As long as I’m still around and people want to read them, a continuation is always possible.”

Land of Stories, which began in 2012 with The Wishing Spell, follows the adventures of twins Conner and Alex, who encounter fairy-tale characters come to life. Read an excerpt from A Grimm Warning here.

Glee Channels American Hustle, Friends

Glee’s upcoming 100th episode has everything: returning celebrities, possible romantic reunions, big production numbers—and fabulous outfits, as revealed by the photo Lea Michele tweeted.

Multiple cast members declared the day the best day of shooting ever—a seriously tall order for an over-the-top show like Glee.

Now that filming has shifted to New York, Glee is also paying homage to a show debuted when half the cast was in kindergarten: Friends. This week, the Gleeks grabbed umbrellas and hopped in a fountain to film an homage to the show’s iconic opening sequence.  Can we get a Seinfeld parody, too? Maybe some Sex and the City?

Klaine Soars

Someone has been leaking behind-the-scenes snaps, and we can’t thank them enough. The most recent slip was an adorable shot of Kurt and Blaine holding balloons. Can anyone say “engagement photos”?!?

We know, they’re just Glee promo images—probably from Klaine’s upcoming duet of Frank Sinatra’s “You Make Me Feel So Young”—but we’re already fantasizing about a wedding announcement in The New York Times.

It looks like Adam Lambert is giving Chris Colfer a glam makeover for Episode 9, “Frenemies,” when Kurt and Starchild are set to perform The Darkness’s “I Believe in a Thing Called Love.”

On February 8, Adam posted the above photo with the text “@chriscolfer and I bringin’ a little glam to @GLEEonFOX last night.”

“Frenemies” Episode Trailer Out

After a long hiatus, we finally get a first look at Glee’s next episode. Sure, the trailer is only nine-seconds long, but it’s got Blaine twirling, Kurt crooning, and Rachel slapping Santana!  February 25 can’t come soon enough!

It pretty much translates itself.
