Minnesota Vikings punter and voice for equality Chris Kluwe
Professional surrenderer in the manly sport-game of football Chris Kluwe kept Stephen Colbert on his toes last night. Among other things, the two discussed Kluwe’s colorful language in an open letter to a Maryland lawmaker and his support for the freedom to marry.
“Why would you support gay marriage?” questioned Colbert. “You are in the most hyper-masculine sport in the world. Okay? Football players are about a thousand miles from gay–”
“You’d be surprised,” Kluwe interjected.
