Chris Pratt is getting seriously pumped for the summer release of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
The 38-year-old action star shared a goofy Instagram video yesterday that shows him leaving it all on the treadmill. Category is: Sweat and Sex Appeal.
For today’s workout I super set hyper-mini-sprints with ultimate-handsome-power-walking followed by a quick set of victory dance fist. Got the entire workout done in under 20 seconds. Burned probably twohundredthousand calories minimum. #avengers #assemble For those asking that’s #needtobreathe in the background. Coincidentally #needtobreathe is my mantra any time I get on the treadmill.
“For today’s workout I super set hyper-mini-sprints with ultimate-handsome-power-walking followed by a quick set of victory dance fist,” writes the newly single actor, who also appears in this month’s Avengers: Infinity War.
“Got the entire workout done in under 20 seconds. Burned probably twohundredthousand calories minimum.” If only!
If you know me you know I’m a massive fan of MMA (mixed martial arts) I consider JiuJitsu, karate, tae kwon do, judo and wrestling to be just as much an art form as acting is a job (which is to say sometimes it doesn’t feel like it is.) Regardless it’s a discipline which requires intense training, dedication and sacrifice. Today I was blessed to enjoy a training session with a couple of MMA’s greatest practitioners. The Noguera brothers are São Paulo natives and absolute legends. “MINOTAURO” asked me to demonstrate some wrestling takedowns on him. He is a former heavyweight champion in both UFC and Pride and is widely considered to be one of the toughest humans in the planet. He’s also one of the nicest. I guess when you walk around with a repertoire of lethal moves at your disposal you can afford to be gracious and kind. Thanks you @minotauromma and @minotouromma for the session! And thank you #saopaulo #guerrainfinita
The hunky Michelob Ultra spokesman, who regularly posts about his exercise and eating habits, recently shared video from a very hands-on MMA training session.
Last week Pratt helped a 16-year-old boy with bone cancer get “his hair and makeup done,” fulfilling his “bucket list” wish. “Here we are living that glam life,” he captioned their post-makeover photo.
Dear world, This is my new pal Jacob Monday. @j8ke.monday He is a 16 year old kid from upstate New York with a unique and powerful story. He was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer. He recently decided to stop treatment and is currently checking things off his bucket list. Needless to say he and his family have been through a lot. One of the things he wants to do is get a ton followers on Instagram. So follow his story for updates, and to help as he checks off items on his wish list! Show the love!!! Another thing he wanted besides meeting the star of his fav movie was to get his hair and makeup done! Ha!! Here we are living that glam life. Makeup and hair credit to @bridgetbragerhair Good job! Jacob and I had fun chatting and kicking it for a few hours. Let’s see how many followers we can get him! #FollowJacobMonday ♥️ Click the link to read his full story. https://www.gofundme.com/jacobswishes
