Christian Grey Dons Mask In Teaser For “Fifty Shades of Grey” Sequel
Fifty Shades Darker isn’t coming tho theaters until Feb 10, 2017, but a new teaser trailer is already out. In the clip, Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) dons a mask reminiscent of Eyes Wide Shut.
Universal Pictures chairman Donna Langley said this week that the sequel will be “more of a thriller” than the original.
Fifty Shades didn’t thrill critics—or those thirsty for full-frontal male nudity—but it did gross $570 million worldwide (and counting). Director Sam Taylor-Johnson and and screenwriter Kelly Marcel were not involved in Darker.
Whether that’s owing to behind-the-scenes drama or not isn’t clear, but E.L. James’ husband, Niall Leonard, penned the sequel.
