The 34-year-old singer released two new tracks this week as part of her multi-episode arc on the show, which began last Wednesday. Like most of Nashville's other characters, Aguilera plays an up-and-coming country music hopeful trying to cut her debut album.

X-tina may be new to the genre, but she tackles "Shotgun" and "The Real Thing" like a true true professional. Check out both songs below!

Aguilera first turned heads with "Shotgun" by performing it live at the Academy of Country Music Awards Sunday.

"I really love the song. It speaks to long-lasting love, the roads it takes, the turns it makes and how it lasts forever," she told People. "When I perform it, I really think of that older couple who have been through it all and who have stood the test of time with the changes that their relationship goes through."
