The LP is called Chris and is due out September 21. The openly pansexual star also released a new song from the album, “Doesn’t Matter,” a follow-up to the recently released track “Girlfriend.”
In a press release, Christine, AKA Héloíse Létissier, says the new album reflects who she is in life today.
“Chaleur Humaine was about teenage years, most of it,” says the 30-year-old performer. “Loneliness, really true feelings, and there is a softness in the way I wrote as well because I was properly introducing myself. [Chris] gets to be a bit more exhilarating, because I get to say, okay, I’ve been introduced now. I get to be more confident, and it matches what happened in my life as a woman.”
North American and European fans can catch Létissier on tour this fall.
