Andrew Caldwell, the man who became an Internet celebrity this month after declaring "I'm Not Gay No More" in front of thousands at a Memphis megachurch, could face serious legal action if he doesn't stop trying to capitalize on his viral fame.

Earlier this week, Caldwell added a baseline and backup singers to audio of his ridiculous revelation and released a remix of it — "his new single" — on iTunes. His attempt at becoming an ex-gay viral star angered The Church of God in Christ, which tells TMZ it's prepared to sue Caldwell "partly because they own the audio, but also because they feel Andrew is making a mockery of the service."

Responding with a statement to TMZ, Caldwell claims he's copyrighted the song and cannot be sued because it's his voice.

Though his gay exorcism was almost too ridiculous to be unplanned, Caldwell maintains he did not expunge his gay demons on stage in order to gain publicity. He claims the fact that his revelation only came when he was in 40,000 people at the Church's Holy Convocation Convention in St. Louis is merely coincidental.

In a Facebook post (now deleted) earlier this week, he claimed he was completely heterosexual and believes the sexual abuse he suffered as a child made him believe he was gay.

Check out a clip of the song below.
