Haters Blast Coca-Cola Ad With Gay Family On Twitter
Coca Cola's commercial during yesterday's Super Bowl was hailed by GLAAD and LGBT media outlets as a landmark for its inclusion of a gay family among the various depictions of American life.
Of course, some people are less than happy with the advertisement, which featured a multilingual "America the Beautiful" set against montage of multicultural people.
Publicshaming.tumblr.com has collected a handful of hateful Facebook posts and tweets on the matter, while the Huffington Post collected some more thoughtful and critical responses to the advertisement.
Below, check out what some are saying about the spot, which will also air on during the Opening Ceremony of the Winter Olympics:

Coke having a commercial with an American song in other languages... not cool. Coke. GTFO with that. — KYBlackoutTFM (@KYBlackout) February 3, 2014
That coke commercial made me realize that there are two types of people. 1) true Americans 2) white people who forgot they were Europeans — Coast Life Guy (@coastlifeguy) February 3, 2014
Apparently, Coke had a gay couple in their super bowl commercial too. Appeasement much?

Coke commercial is sickening. Pandering to immigrants both legal and illegal. Next commercial will feature Gay wedding or NAMBLA meeting?
