British Lads Post "Cock In A Sock" Selfies For Testicular Cancer Awareness: PHOTOS
The British nonprofit Cancer Research UK raised more than $3.3 million in just with a viral campaign encouraging women to post bare-faced selfies with the hashtag #nomakeupselfie.
Well, the blokes of Great Britain felt left out: Enter #cockinasock, a trending hashtag that's leading hundreds of British men to post Instagram snapshots of themselves in nothing but a sock. (Facebook has pulled some images down, but as news of the campaign spreads it seems the social-media giant has lightened up.)
Over the weekend the trend landed in the U.S—testicular cancer is the most common cancer in American males between 15 and 34, but it's highly treatable, especially if caught early via self-examination.
