Colombian Police Stop And Harass Two Men Kissing On The Street
As part of their "We Need More Kisses" campaign, Jack'd has been video-recording public displays of affection between Latin American LGBT couples to combat the widespread homophobia many of them face in their home countries.
In one of their latest videos, a couple kissing on the streets of Medellin, Colombia is shown being abruptly interrupted by police just seconds into their kiss.
Jack'd shared the upsetting video on their Twitter last week.

The video reads: "The police didn't know that we were recording the couple—all they saw were two men kissing. They separated them with the intention of detaining them and it was only when our producer intervened that they backed off."
"In order for this to not happen to others," the video concludes, "we need more kisses, we need your kisses."
Though the Colombian government passed marriage equality late last month, it's clear that the public still has a long way to go toward full acceptance.
