Just one day after rumors began swirling about their split, Colton Haynes is addressing speculation that Jeff Leatham, his husband of six months, had cheated.

"Jeff would never cheat," the Teen Wolf heartthrob tweeted this morning. "He's an amazing man. Please stop being mean to him. The song I wrote was about a past relationship."

Haynes did not, however, address rumors of their separation.

The 29-year-old actor's tweet refers to his new song, "Man It Sucks," in which he sings about a failed relationship and being "hurt... so damn bad." The lyrics also mention “cheating drama” and “staying up all night with a bottle of wine, drunk with lonely tears.”

Fans recently noticed that Haynes had unfollowed the 46-year-old Four Seasons artistic director on Instagram and removed photos of him from his page. He also dropped “husband” from his profile, as well as his hyphenated married name, “Haynes-Leatham.”

Haynes and Leatham tied the knot last October in a star-studded Palm Springs ceremony officiated by Kris Jenner.

“It’s just amazing when you find someone who kind of teaches you to love yourself more,” the American Horror Story: Cult star told People. “When you learn to really love someone, it’s completely life-changing. Now we have this beautiful life together and this epic journey ahead.”

Haynes, who officially came out as gay in a 2016 interview with EW, went public about his relationship with Leatham last Valentine’s Day. They announced their engagement last March.
