Colton Haynes On Being A Nudist: "When You Grow Up On A Farm, You Just Don't Wear Clothes"

In a new interview with Schön! magazine, Arrow star Colton Haynes reflected on his humble beginnings in Kansas, including his early disdain for clothing.

“When you grow up on a farm, you just don’t wear clothes," he said. "Maybe that’s the reason I have no dignity left; no filter. I think it’s a side effect of growing up in a town of 600 people where we were the newbies in town.”

Of course, Haynes developed an unfortunate affinity for clothes, becoming an Abercrombie & Fitch model in his teenage years.

"I was 15 and I had a fake ID and was being put in these tropical destinations," he recalls. "My first shoot, I got arrested. I wasn’t drinking—that’s the truth—but I bought everyone else beer with my fake. We had this party in my hotel room and the maids called the police. They put me in handcuffs.”

Please hold while we imagine Colton Haynes in handcuffs.

Since those wild days, his star has grown considerably: Following major modeling gigs and a stint on Teen Wolf, he scored his biggest part to date—as Arsenal on Arrow.

Haynes admits he's pretty popular on social media—and gets some pretty hardcore invitations from fans, male and female.

"I get very sexually aggressive Tweets. I want to make a coffee table book," he says "This is one of my favorites: 'Do you want to build a snowman...or have sex with me?'"

A fair question.
