Anna Wintour Is The Brains Behind Everything That Ever Was Funny In Hilarious "Late Night" Sketch

You know Anna Wintour as the sunglasses-clad editrix of Vogue, but in a sketch from Late Night with Seth Meyers, Wintour's true gift is finally revealed: She is the woman behind every major comedy decision made in the last 40 years.

This includes creating Saturday Night Live, directing Animal House and telling Jerry Seinfeld that his show should be about nothing.

At one point, Meyers is asked how he would characterize his relationship with Wintour, who also brings the juice to his show.

Meyers: "Oh, great. She and I very much have an equal partnership at this show."

Wintour: "Teacher/Student."

Under Wintour's dictatorship, Late Night writers wear tuxedos and ballgowns ("She never actually said that's what she wanted, but we just assumed that it was the right thing to do") while she makes executive decisions like whether to go with the chattering teeth or whoopie cushion.
