Connie Britton Is Probably Returning To “American Horror Story” This Season

This season of American Horror Story, American Horror Story Coven, has been far and away the best yet in our opinion. The cast is perfect, the story is amazing, and being able to watch acting greats like Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett and Frances Conroy go at it, well, it does not get better than that. Only, it kinda could get better than that if Connie Britton were to return. And it kinda looks like she may.

When asked about the chances of her being on the new season, Britton told Rolling Stone:

I’ve actually have been talking to them this season, because they’re down in New Orleans and I’m in Nashville. I said, “Okay, let’s see if we can try to figure this out.”

I’m like, “I’ll put that [pointy witch hat] on and jump on a plane and go to New Orleans.” Yes, I would do that. As long as we can figure it out with both productions, I’m in. I hope it happens.

This is basically the only way you are able to confirm something if you are in a Ryan Murphy production, as he is so secretive about everything. You go on and on about how it may happen, until there you are, showing up on our TV screen, probably holding a bunch of snakes or banging a Minotaur in this instance.

It also helps that on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, Miss Connie Britton was again very coy about returning, saying she would love to, it was just all about scheduling.

Basically, we’re praying Myrtle Snow has a daughter, and that that daughter will be played by Connie Britton. Assuming, of course, that luscious hair of her’s is even able to except the harshness of a crimping iron.
