These Pride Sneakers From Converse, Nike, Gucci And Adidas Support The Community—And Your Need To Be Fabulous

Nice kicks!

LGBT Pride month is upon us so it's time to pull your rainbow sneakers out of the closet and get ready to be fierce with your fashion.

If you don't have some rainbow fashion items already then you're in luck because multiple companies have debuted some sick new kicks to help you bring some color to your pride attire.

Nike

For a third year in a row Adidas has released a Pride collection but instead of colorful rainbow splatters of years past, this year the brand has decided to take a more subtle approach launching black sneakers with rainbow heels.

The shoe brand unveiled the adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 LGBT back in January. It features a black Primeknit woven upper, matching black laces, a black outsole and a playful, rainbow graphic on the heel cap.

Nike launched its #BeTrue collection in 2012 and the newest items in their Pride line mix rainbows with other traditional LGBT Pride symbols like triangles and unicorns.

According to Nike, it has provided approximately $2.5 million in financial support to LGBT-related causes since the project’s inception.

Converse is going back in time for this year's Pride collection including sneakers that were inspired by the first Pride Parades in New York in the '70s. All net proceeds from the 2017 Pride Collection will go to the It Gets Better Project and The Happy Hippie Foundation.

Gucci is one of the latest fashion institutions to jump on the Pride bandwagon—but their rainbows are a little pricier.

Gucci’s new “leather low-top platform sneaker” will have you standing tall at your local Pride parade, but start saving that coin now because the shoes cost $995. The company is also offering another more low key sneaker for a mere $695. Pocket change!
