Courtney Love may not be the greatest role model in the world, but she sure has some great stories to tell. So news that the Hole singer and former wife of Kurt Cobain is penning a memoir is sure to come as a delight to fans and non-fans alike. Now everyone can know what it was like for Love to, wait for it, live through this.
The memoir is scheduled to be released next fall by William Morrow, though, knowing Love’s timeline, do not be surprised if the book doesn’t make it on to shelves before the holiday.
Among the topics Love will discuss are her marriage to Cobain, her life as a Hollywood actress and her repeated problems with drugs. Given that Love has dated everyone from Edward Norton to Billy Coorgan, there will certainly be no shortage of topics. If anything, this memoir may work best as a trilogy.
It is uncertain however if Love will discuss her strained relationship with estranged daughter Frances Bean Cobain, though, given her proclivity to overshare, we are sure it will somehow find a way into the novel.
So, to everyone who has ever wronged Ms. Love — start apologizing now.
