"Drag Race," "Stranger Things," "Skin Wars" Nab Nominations For 2016 Critics' Choice Awards

The Critics' Choice Awards air December 11 at 8pm on A&E

Nominations for the 2016 Critics' Choice Awards were announced this morning and among the honorees was RuPaul's Drag Race, which is in the running for Best Reality Competition Series, against America's Got Talent, MasterChef Junior, Skin Wars, the Amazing Race and The Voice.

Appearing on both Drag Race and Skin Wars, RuPaul has twice the chances of going home with an award.

FX's The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story lead the pack with six nominations, followed by Game of Thrones, The Night Manager and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt , which netted five apiece.

In the Best Actor categories, Emmy winner Kate McKinnon was nominated for her work on Saturday Night Live and Jeffrey Tambor got the nod for Transparent.

Other nominees include Tituss Burgess for his role on Schmitt and Louie Anderson was nominated for his role as Christine Baskets on FX's Baskets.

The Critics' Choice Awards will air December 11 at 8pm on A&E. Nominations in the movie categories will be announced December 1.
