Dutch coffee brand Douwe Egberts has released a new ad that's been steaming up Twitter.

In "Something to Share," a French commercial created by Belgian ad agency BBDO, a young girl's makeout session is interrupted when her father comes home.

A hoodie hides her partner's identity until they come back downstairs to the kitchen, invited via text by the cool dad for a coffee break, when it's revealed that, yep, the daughter has a girlfriend.

"We all have something to share over a Douwe Egberts coffee," the YouTube slogan reads.

"Coffee is at the heart of life. It is with us at the big moments and the small," reads the company's website. "Jacobs Douwe Egberts celebrates life beyond the beverage, putting the coffee cup at the centre of the conversation, wherever in the world it takes place... Everyone should be free to enjoy their coffee, their way."
