Michael Sam kissing his boyfriend after finding out he had been drafted by the St. Louis Rams elicited some strong reactions: TV personality Amy Kushnir walked off the set of KTXD's The Broadcast in Dallas on Tuesday because she was so offended by it,

"When parents do not have a choice about whether or not they want their children to see this, it is wrong.," said Kushir. "I don't call it a moment of celebration—It's being pushed in faces. I don't want to see that. I don't want to see cake in your face, kissing each other."

Kushir also insisted "ESPN would not have aired any of it had he been kissing his wife." (Oh really?)

How much do you want to bet Kushnir's antics are just a ploy to get her a cushy gig on Fox News?

Cases involving national security are not normally approved for transfer to federal prisons, but Defense Department officials told the Associated Press it could be an option since the DOD does not offer such treatment and Manning cannot be discharged while serving out her 35-year sentence.

Manning, born Bradley Manning, was convicted of sending hundreds of classified documents to WikiLeaks.

“No decision to transfer Private Manning to a civilian detention facility has been made, and any such decision will, of course, properly balance the soldier’s medical needs with our obligation to ensure she remains behind bars,” said Pentagon press secretary Rear Admiral John Kirby.

Well, at least he got the pronouns right.

Bryan Singer has come out as bisexual in a profile in Out magazine.   “I’m quite bisexual,” the X-Men: Days of Future Past director says. “In the last five years, I’ve had two girlfriends — one for two years, one for eight months.”

If you think Singer's "revelation" might be a stunt to discredit allegations he sexually abused a male teenager, the magazine included a note that the article went to press just as the first lawsuit against Singer was announced.

While the election was initially too close to call, the state Board of Elections has declared the American Idol alum's 450-vote lead over the late Keith Crisco was enough to avoid a runoff. Aiken will now face  Republican Renee Ellmers in the general election.
