Daniel Radcliffe Delivers Graphic Gay Sex Scene In "Kill Your Darlings"
Daniel Radcliffe has spent the better part of 2013 talking up his role in Kill Your Darlings, the upcoming drama in which he plays Beat poet Allen Ginsberg back when he was a twinky Columbia undergrad. Taken from a true story, Darlings recounts Ginsberg's first encounters with Jack Kerouac and William S. Burroughs, his bizarre relationship with Beat muse Lucien Carr (Dane DeHann, with Radcliffe above) and the birth of what was then called "The New Vision."
It also recounts Ginsberg's entrée into the wonderful world of gay sex, something Radcliffe hasn't been shy about discussing: "I was doing a gay sex scene and the director [John Krokidas] was giving step-by-step instructions," he revealed on the Graham Norton Show. "The favorite note I have ever had was when we were kissing and the director shouted, ‘Not like that. Crazy sex kissing!’”
Well we've seen Kill Your Darlings and while Radcliffe's smooch with DeHann is more fleeting than "crazy-sex kissing," his bedroom encounter with another actor is about as graphic as we've seen in a mainstream movie go in the gay sex department. Frustrated that Carr is just leading him on, Ginsberg goes to a clandestine queer bar and picks up a handsome stranger. They go back to a room, where Ginsberg has his first full-on penetrative sex act, with a nervous-but-still-adorable Radcliffe lifting his legs in the air for his man.

Well, it's as close as we've seen at the cineplex.
Krokidas is determined to demystify gay sex: He told told Daily Xtra the only thing that disappointed him about Brokeback Mountain was the sex scene between Jake Gylle
nhaal and Heath Ledger. “I’ve never seen it happen like it happened in that scene,” he said.
Us neither. Other things we can confirm:
* There's palpable sexual tension between Radcliffe and Dehaan, and an electric kiss that's all too brief.
* Ginsberg is shown manically masturbating (from behind) in front of a typewriter as he rides out a wicked Benzedrene trip. (It's a fairly funny scene.)
* Radcliffe's bushy treasure trail is intact. ”I told Dan nobody manscaped in the 1940s," Krokidas shared. "No groomers, no personal body trimmers—let it be.”
