Behind the scenes sneak peak of the new David Beckham for H&M Campaign
Nearly naked David Beckham for H&M is back—this time immortalized in steel and metal in statue form. H&M will celebrate the launch of their second advertising campaign for its David Beckham Bodywear collection with some statues of the sexy man clad only in some undies, and, of course a contest to win stuff.
This mini David Beckham statue could be yours
As you may remember, the first campaign (which, with Madonna’s act, made the 2012 Super Bowl the best one ever) revealed the kind of below-the-belt-man-shape on Beckham that totally upset the red state crowd and made at least one left leaning CNN Analyst send out a homophobic tweet. It also sent women and gay men everywhere into spontaneous fits of sexy. So to hype up the next sultry campaign for Beckham’s Bodywear line, H&M will be unveiling nine 11-foot statues of David in nothing more than his H&M boxer briefs in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco. The adonis statues will be unveiled on Thursday, August 16th.
After taking in the sight, you’ll be able to win a few cool prizes and giveaways. Snap a picture on Instagram with your favorite Beckham statue anytime from August 16th through August 19th, and tag it with #HMBeckham for a chance to win one of 100 mini, limited edition David Beckham statues; one of ten pairs of signed David Beckham underwear; and the grand prize which includes $1,000 H&M shopping spree (Included is no wait in a line).
Those who cannot make it to the statue sites will have a second chance to take a picture with Beckham from August 20th to August 31st at H&M store locations throughout other cities in the country that have yet to be announced.
